8. A couple of days ago, during the Workshop I am leading here in Asturias, we were talking about Tuscany and its amazing landscapes: I immediately started thinking about the beauty of this land in the fall, and realised once more that I can't wait to be back there very soon! This is Val d'Orcia, photographed during a Workshop I led there in November 2017. Leica SL, Leica APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri

10. these are the first winter days in this region and searching for a scenery of light snow and mist I kept roaming for a while and further up the hills a quiet deserted scenery was unfolding. Light was already fading a bit and a light drizzling started. Canon 5D MKII and my favourite R-Elmarit 60mm lens was mounted. Exposure with my favourite aperture 5.6 for these low light cases and 1/15 sec ISO 200 + polarizer.
11. It was a misty grey day, the right weather to see what impressions the regional big peat-bog would like to offer. It was drizzling all the time and everything as wrapped in plastic foil. It was hard to focus precisely because all the material went damp with breath. After every shot the front lens had to be wiped. All taken with the Elmarit R- 60 mm Macro mounted on Canon 5D MKII
12. Rummaging through some photos, knowing that some of them need a little time to grow on me, I found this one. Getting a little better at DPP helps. M8
13. I love Tuscany in every season, but especially so in the fall or spring, when mist can transform the landscape & the mood of your photos completely. Sunrise on the hills, 1/40 sec., Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm, Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Tuscan Sunrise, 1/50 sec., Leica SL, Leica Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm, Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing and commenting, best regards Vieri
14. We stayed one day and a night at the Montara Lighthouse. We were fascinated by the enticing atmosphere and spent much time on the private beach. We had always to decide either to pack our stuff safely in the backpack or risking a bottom glide (one hand to hold the tripod with the mounted camera and the other hand for providing a soft touchdown...guess, what we did - nothing happened, no broken limbs or lenses. most of the time I used my Zeiss wideangle lens 18 mm which unfortunately cannot e shown here, but I can post a few studies with the Elmarit R 28 mm + filters
15. On the 26th we had no rain and this was the first day for a hike. In the night the temperature fell a bit and there was thick mist. Hopefully I went uphill and found our forest changed for the better. All are with Canon 5D MKII and Elmarit R 90 mm + Summicron R 50 mm
16. the last day of the year 2014 was droop, grey and misty. At 2 p.m. it was almost dark and I was only accompanied by the sound of the trees, the slight breeze and birds fluttering here and there: strange and lonesome. Olympus EM5 with Summilux 15 mm and Nocticron 43 mm
