Advertisement Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Hi Michael-IIIf, Take a look here St Giles and Centrepoint. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ejd Posted November 22, 2006 Share #2 Â Posted November 22, 2006 Surprisingly picturesque! St Giles' church always seems rather a forgotten object -- overshadowed by all the more famous ones nearby. But it is charming in a quiet way. Â I enjoy all these London pictures. Â All the best, Â John

malcolm Posted November 24, 2006 Share #5 Â Posted November 24, 2006 Michael, Very well seen. Ideal in B&W. Not only are the "old" (church) and "new" (high-rise building) both the same vertical angle, but the "new" towering over the "old" adds a social commentary overtone (IMO). Michael-IIIf Posted November 25, 2006 Author Share #7  Posted November 25, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks for all your comments.  Yes, it is an often forgotten building mostly hidden by the roar of traffic. A shame really, as it is rather elegant. I'm often in a minority of one by quite liking Centrepoint too; that is, if one excludes its awful inhuman podium.  cheers  Michael
arminw Posted November 29, 2006 Share #8 Â Posted November 29, 2006 Very nice picture and I love the view point. Where did you take it from ??
semrich Posted November 30, 2006 Share #9 Â Posted November 30, 2006 May I add one more vote for the viewpoint, it was the first thing that stuck me after it loaded, and then add that the tones and the clouds enhance the overall experience of it.
