PeterIH Posted September 21, 2009 Share #28 Posted September 21, 2009 Although most of my great inspirations are already named (Kertesz, Brassai, Koudelka, Eugene Smith, Sieff, Ronis, Doisneau, Nachtwey) I would like to add some: Werner Bisschoff (died at young age, Magnum member). Reza Deghati, Iranian photographer, living in Paris and working under the name of Reza. And a lesser known photographer: Kees Scherer, Dutch photographer. KEES SCHERER A contemporary photographer I like very much is the Belgian Stephan Vanfleteren. He works in B/W.: Stephan Vanfleteren - Homepage Cheers, Peter Flickr: Peter IH's Photostream

Sandokan Posted September 22, 2009 Share #32 Posted September 22, 2009 Doh! I should have read the title! I guess Annie is out too. the others are only in because they had no choice in shooting B&W. How many of the people in this list shooting B&W would have shot in colour if the choice had been there for them?
