Colin,

Very fine condition for your M2. Is that the latest 35f1.4Asph FLE on the front? Something old, something new. It would really need to be a chrome lens to fit with the fine M2 era, but Leica aren't doing a chrome version yet.

 

Your shot of the camera is beautiful too. Obviously fine photographic equipment in the hands of a craftsman here.

Here's another shot. I currently use a light meter app on my iPhone - it's pretty accurate. I haven't been able to get any Tri-X, so it's been Delta 400.

Yesterday the camera in the photo joined the M6 in my film kit. It had a blue body covering when it arrived but the seller had thoughtfully included the Aki-Asahi "skin" that can be seen. For quite a while starting in the mid 1960s my ideal (but unattainable) kit was an M2 with 35mm and 90mm lenses. I soon found that while those lenses were necessary, I could not get on without a 50mm.
