SethiPhotography Posted 3 hours ago Share #1 Posted 3 hours ago Advertisement (gone after registration) So coming from Fujifilm, I was excited to receive my M EV1 and looking forward to downloading images using Leica Looks but when I tried this, I noticed that my camera was not supported. My question is, can I expect support in the future or is it simply the case the M bodies where never intended to benefit from this feature. Thank you in advance for your comments and replies. Advertisement Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Hi SethiPhotography, Take a look here Leica M EV1 is not supported with Leica Looks. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jmschuh Posted 3 hours ago Share #2 Posted 3 hours ago No, that won't work. Leica Looks require a Maestro IV processor, while the M EV1 only has a Maestro III processor.
SethiPhotography Posted 2 hours ago Author Share #3 Posted 2 hours ago Thank you, I will probably use ChatGPT to create lightroom presets for me as I quite like the film look.
jaapv Posted 2 hours ago Share #4 Posted 2 hours ago I know that there are people who like the feature but I have never understood the importance attached. These are just a number of presets with a Leica label and the Internet is replete with presets. In the end, I prefer my own, personal, look, not somebody else’s interpretation. 2
maxpower Posted 2 hours ago Share #5 Posted 2 hours ago I don't use these styles myself either, but just wanted to add that you can still apply these Leica Looks to photos when downloaded in the FOTOS app; assuming photos are not edited with other apps and you did not configure a JPEG "Film Style" in-camera. It's not as seamless as it would be with a Q3 but at least it's an option if you want to play around with it.
