Ah - Google helps. Using your lens detached from the camera. I don't think that use entered Leica's mind when designing the M11. (Nor mine reading this thread).

I had to look it up too. Very influencer-y and a technique I already tired of looking at a few examples. To me though, it seems like 'freelensing' with a $15k lens is less than optimal value. May as well just get a TTArtisan 90 f1.25 for $600. That way if you drop it (which is all I can think of reading about this technique) then one won't be so sad.

If I punch into the focus I see the shallow focus differences on the 90mm. Thats why I need the point in the center ; but sometimes the points moves because the camera moves and so the point gets lost in the corners up left or up right or down right and down left. This happens because I am using different cameras with different lenses and systems. So when I need the focus in the center I need a quick way to set it back (which with the help of the forum was achieved, so thank you) 

When I detach the lens and create the "tilt shift" effect which you can see in the image then I need the Screen to evaluate the effect and if the focus is at the wrong point I need to shift the focus > thus its important to a control over the part of the image that zooms into the image to see the amount of the sharpness or unsharpness.

Thats why I am using a TTartisan lens for this exercise. But it's not about the exercise. Its just that with the exercise the challenges gets bigger. And that's why I asked if there is a shortcut or any way I can look the center focus zoom.

It is many decades ago that I tried it and gave up as useless for me. A misspent youth I suppose.

Glad you found a solution. Did you try Perspective control with your M11? just curious.

I only use it for architecture. sometimes street. PC does not help you with close focus or Scheinflug and it generates only a jpg. 

for me its much easier to use standard lenses as macro tilt lenses or shift lenses.

Perspective Control also works with raw files. The angles are embedded as metadata, and when using Adobe software, the leveling and tilting correction can be applied at import.

You can't make this with perspective control. Or do you? The lens is tilted and free shifted. 

I can't see that PC can do this. Or?

No, you cannot do that with LPC. LPC can only simulate the shift (hence the name, perspective correction), not the tilt. Lensbaby is probably best for the effect above.
