NigelG Posted yesterday at 10:41 AM Share #3681 Posted yesterday at 10:41 AM (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) I don't want to see shots of the exterior...I want to see the view through the EVF! 😉 (Though I do want to see some evidence of a Silver Chrome version 🤞) Edited yesterday at 10:42 AM by NigelG
Advertisement Posted yesterday at 10:41 AM Posted yesterday at 10:41 AM Hi NigelG, Take a look here EVF M rumoured. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
la1402 Posted yesterday at 10:47 AM Share #3682 Posted yesterday at 10:47 AM Visually this looks more like a Q3 with M mount than a M with EVF. So the same viewing experience as in the Q3 - that would be underwhelming…
DreiPunkte Posted yesterday at 10:47 AM Share #3683 Posted yesterday at 10:47 AM Interesting picts. Will the window on the front produce a rangefinder patch into the EV? That woud be a real gamechanger. I will wait until a manual is available

Not sure how you could pay the rent and put food on the table providing Leicas to professionals (especially those who walk into your shop). I think they only sell Leica. They happily sell to the general public but are more geared up to selling to pros. When I collected a Q3, they mistakenly thought my assistant had phoned earlier so thought I was a pro which I am not.

Ivor and Elaine are great to deal with, been selling Leica products for years, very knowledgeable. If my memory is correct, Ivor was at Classic Camera before setting up Red Dot. I visit whenever I can, although that’s not so easy if you live in Derbyshire 😳 I’m sure he does most of his business online and that service is excellent.

M-lenses cannot tell the used f/stop to the camera. Edited yesterday at 12:02 PM by jankap

The website shows what they sell. Walk in and if they have got it they will sell it to you. The last thing I bought was four rolls of Leica film. The packaging for such a low value item was exemplary and there was no way any of the 'special' film boxes could have been crushed.

Olaf_ZG Posted yesterday at 12:07 PM Share #3699 Posted yesterday at 12:07 PM Though interested, a lot even, I will not be a beta-tester. The m11 had enough problems and I don’t trust it will be without issues with this one. So, I will be patient and see how this model will work in reality. 5

As I said, they are happy to supply the general public and the service is excellent. If you visit, it is different to most/regular dealers. They also have a messenger delivery service within London for pros.
