Native L mount vs adapted M mount?

I have three of the APO Summicron-SL lenses (35, 50, 75) and the 50mm Summilux-SL.  For my less used focal lengths I’ve always considered Voigtlander high quality with great performance, so I have a couple of them and was thinking of picking up the 21mm Nokton.  I’m beginning to wonder if using lenses made by Sigma would actually be better because they were specifically made for L mount.  Any thoughts?

Sigma does not make lenses with the character of Voigtländer. OTOH Sigma lenses are of first-class quality and support the full L functionality. Up to you, I fear...

Thanks, I figured as much.  I ordered the 21 Nokton.  Wide open it looks great and stopped down it seems to be highly resolving and sharp.  I love my 40 1.2 and 15 5.6.  At the end of the day it’s about the images.
