Advertisement Posted January 29 Posted January 29 Hi TjohnW1, Take a look here Waist high view finder attachment for a Digilux 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
wda Posted January 29 Share #2 Posted January 29 I think you might have to improvise a solution by using a mirror with the D2 on a tripod. There is no provision for electronic coupling to the imaging circuit.. Enjoy your Digilux 2. It is still an amazing camera. dpitt Posted January 29 Share #3 Posted January 29 (edited) This is not exactly waist high, but it could be adapted. Just tried it on the Digilux 2. The metal brace that fits in the flash shoe needs to be shortened: I am not sure yet how much of the display will be in view. The batteries of the D2 are charging now to test that. dpitt Posted January 29 Share #4 Posted January 29 (edited) Confirmation. This angle viewfinder in the post above can be used with the Digilux 2. Al you need to do is replace the metal piece that fits in the hot shoe with one that is slightly shorter. Landscape or portrait mode is built in. You have eye correction and the full display is visible. Part number = 14286 Mine does not have a Leica logo, but came in a Leica plastic box. All it says is made in Japan. This seems to be normal for this period. Edited January 29 by dpitt
