I have a half case (the Leica one) which protects the camera. Then I have the Q hanging around the neck. Why would I need a bag? I have no additional lens as I would have with an M or SL. In that case a bag is certainly useful or even needed. I would suggest to wait until you have your Q. See then what you need. Probably nothing. Regards Peter The 3.5l is a better option. I can get camera in one side then in other side of divider a rocket blower, spare battery, ND filter and iPhone. Even leaves a little room on top for glasses or similar. He uses it, and it seems to be a perfect size for the Q3.
