stuny Posted December 9, 2023 Share #3 Posted December 9, 2023 The 109's zoom lens is more versatile than most people know. Like so many other Panasonic derived Leicas with zoom lenses, there is a function while shooting jpegs that extends the long end of the zoom from native 75 mm equivalent to 150. It's called i-Zoom, and uses an algorithm to keep the image virtually fine, vs. what happens with Digital Zoom, which throws away pixels.
