lct Posted September 2, 2018 Share #4 Posted September 2, 2018 I have no experience with flash on this camera but you may wish to check that silent mode is disabled.
Andreas Braun Posted September 2, 2018 Share #5 Posted September 2, 2018 I have the same problem (flash) , but can’t see the solution. Can you tell me? Thanks. If the flash is attatched and switched to ON (with the switch on the flash body) all flash options are available. But there are some camera recording modes - see p. 178 - where the flash will be deactivated. Andreas
Lane A. Posted January 8, 2019 Share #6 Posted January 8, 2019 I had the same problem and turning off "Silent Mode" resolved it. 1

Rodrigo Linhares Posted August 5, 2022 Share #8 Posted August 5, 2022 My friends, just reset the camera settings and the flash works again. Some adjustments cause the flash to stop working. I think this is something that the manufacturer did wrong.

Hi I’m still having the same problem. I have connected the external flash but the option is still greyed out. I don’t know what to do?
jaapv Posted Tuesday at 03:54 PM Share #11 Posted Tuesday at 03:54 PM Is it a flash that is suitable for Panasonic - that is the flash protocol for this camera? Otherwise it will only operate on Manual or the flash internal A setting.
