The mention of the Digilux 4.3 as your oldest digital technology evokes nostalgia for a time when 1MP cameras and floppy disks were cutting-edge. Your perspective on whether such technology is considered "old" or "obsolete" raises an intriguing point. Indeed, the categorization of technology's obsolescence often hinges on the user's competence and adaptability. What might seem outdated to some could be cherished and effectively utilized by others. This observation underscores the subjective nature of technological evaluation, where personal experience and skill play pivotal roles in determining the perceived value and relevance of a device. The Digilux 4.3, despite its humble specifications by today's standards, might hold sentimental or practical significance for its owner, illustrating how individual perspectives shape our perceptions of technological advancement.

My first digital was my Digilux 1998, than Digilux 2 in 2002, the R9+DMR in 2005, but total Leica-blackout in 2012 and switch over to Fuji XPro1 (used with Vario-R 21-35 mm), than back to the roots to Leica Q2 in 2019, following S3 in March 2020 and M 10-R in October. But in 2023 I bought a secound hand M3 looking back to my first analog in 1955.
