However, I could not find the Camera Profile and Lens Profile for the new gears. It is strange as other photos taken by Leica M11 were recognized by Lightroom correctly. Please find the screenshots for your reference. I am using MacBook and Lightroom Classic. Please kindly advise. Your help is highly appreciated!! Thank you very much. Luke_Miller Posted August 9, 2023 Share #3 Posted August 9, 2023 With the Leica SL cameras (as well as the Nikon Z bodies) the camera embeds the lens profile corrections in the image data which are then automatically applied by the image processing programs. Paul2660 Posted August 10, 2023 Share #6 Posted August 10, 2023 Adobe did not make custom profiles for the SL2 or SL2 -S. You need to select Adobe color or one of the other limited profiles offered. I assume this is because the Leica cameras use dng for their raw. However other raw conversion software offerings do have custom color profiles for the SL cameras. Capture One for example. goodbokeh Posted August 12, 2023 Share #9 Posted August 12, 2023 (edited) My Adobe Camera Raw/Photoshop has the same SL2 camera profile as yours, that is in the third screen shot you show as "Preferences". There are no specific SL2 color profiles though. A favorite color profile for my SL2 is Cobalt's "M10-R embedded", found in their Cobalt Profile "Leica M version 1.1", which also works great with my Q2, Sonys and Fuji. On the 35mm APO lens profile it's just like my 90 APO. There is no Adobe Raw lens profile. If Leica is doing any corrections to the APO lens in the Raw file in-camera they are also doing the same to the Jpegs because toggling back and forth shows the same geometric look.
