Another portion of leaked accessories photos, and one with round hood. Does it mean no more sexy square hood?

probably not?

I would assume the square hood is still standard - the accessories are just that.

Given the amount of leaked photos floating around and not a single non-black Q3 has shown up, I’m doubtful we’ll have a Q3 in any other color than black until some special editions start showing up in 3+ years.

Where is the USB-C port? Is it within a side door?

Yes

The 3-pins at the bottom seem to be power connectors to a base unit. Wonder why it’s not recessed.

Same reason why iPad 3 pin smart keyboard connector isn’t recessed. It’s not needed.

Then why the different colored accessories?

Probably because Leica wants to cash in on the accessory market. The Q is arguably the most popular model for new Leica owners and these folks who are coming from Fujifilm, Ricoh, and Sony want to accessorizes their cameras.

These folks are only interested in a 35mm😉

I received an invite to a "special event" at the Leica Manchester store for Friday 26th.

"Please join us at Leica Store Manchester to meet your new and unique companion that combines style and cutting edge-technology, empowering anyone to take photographs and video in breathtaking quality and which integrates easily, naturally and intuitively into everyday creative processes."

If they've redesigned the hood so a more secure lens cap can be used, I'm all for it.

But those hoods look odd - like they're ventilated to be used on a M with a rangefinder.

They're designed to be nostalgic and look like rangefinder lens hoods... just like the whole Q body is reminiscent to a rangefinder body (viewfinder on the left and so on...)
TBH it looks just really cool. No practical use for the ventilated slits.
I saw one out in the open yesterday... noticed a Q with that hood, the Leica employee tried to distract me by showing that hood to me but I was sure: They were handling a Q3...
The Q with that round hood installed just looks super pretty :)

Curious where the data is to support your claim? Maybe I’m an outlier? Turns out I am not one of “these folks.”
My more recent purchase of a Q2, though costly, was for a specific need. And that need was for a light and high quality kit to take on holiday. Because of advancing physical issues I just wanted to carry one cam and one lens that could serve as many “situations” on my European holiday as possible. It needed to be fully weather sealed and light enough to carry during long walks and tours without adding excessive weight.  Lastly the IQ needed to be as good as possible.
I shoot Sony professionally and use Fuji as a pleasure cam. Didn’t want to carry a bevy of lenses to change though options were available.
Finally decided on the purchase of the Q2 which turned out to be a fine choice. No regrets whatsoever. Didn’t need to accessorize. Turns out the only truly necessary accessory was an umbrella!  Oh, and one extra battery

Very similar to the Overgaard hood that lots of people complained they couldn't get.  I bought one for my Q2M, it was delivered promptly so I must have been lucky.  I like it, makes changing filters on the Monochrom very easy, you can't do that with the Leica original unless you remove the hood first.
