Love these points I agree, however, I do find the iso dial on the M7 easier to adjust than the 2022 M6. Could be because it’s older and worn. Something for me to get use to I guess! Do you plan on getting a half case for it?

I've never had an M7 or original M6, so I wouldn't know. I do find it easier to press the dial center with the fingertips of the index finger and thumb and turn it. It's harder for me to press and turn with a single finger for whatever reason. It was the same way for me on the MP and M-A dials, so maybe I just am not pressing hard enough.

I'm not sure about a half case. These film M cameras are so wonderfully small, it doesn't seem right to add a case.

The ISO dials on both my M7s are much easier to turn than on my new M6.  Same with my MP.  But I bet the M6's will loosen up with use.

Yea it was a noticeable difference between the M7 and M6. Something to just get use to until it loosens up a bit more!

A little tight is always better than a little loose.

M6 TTL still my personal fav.

If the new M6 came in a black paint option, had a big shutter dial, and turned in the direction of the digital Ms, I’d get a copy - but all 3 seem out of the question.

🎉🍻 to the ones who enjoy the new one

I only take pics of posters when my images are on them. The rest of the time I am traveling.

That is a testament as to how  good looking the M6 is.  When you travel you ignore the scenery and take pics of your camera.

Wow that Millennium M6 … There is something about the combination of black paint AND the red dot… (Also the simplicity without “M6” engraving on the front)
That camera is just a beauty.

And I know that filter… This was a MapCamera Edition, wasn’t it?

Good eye, it is the MapCamera Edition filter

Yes, the M6 Millennium (0.72 Finder) and the M6 Dragon (0.85 Finder) are my fav M6 variants. The black paint is pretty resistant, not much brassing after moderate usage for years. M6 Dragon here with the 50/1.4 bp. The M6 Millennium is always paired with the 35/2 v2 black paint. Likely grabbing a 35/2 v1 black paint for the M7 0.58 Black paint … is there an end to this? Ever? 😄

Dragon, of course. I should have recognized it by the soft-release-button, this just screams 龍.

M6 Millennium, M6 Dragon, black paint M7… you got black paint issues…
I suggest you send all of those to me and switch them for one silver chrome body for a while… free therapy 😉

Wait. You think this forum left me with any sanity? I have a full set up of chrome bodies and lenses. Whatever I buy in black, I buy a copy in chrome too - where available. After pestering Leica for awhile, they finally released the APO75 to my joy 😄 It was the only f2 lens for which I didn’t have an identical silver copy 😄

You wouldn’t happen to have MapCamera editions in 39mm and 55mm by any chance, would you?

This goes off topic in an M6 thread...

But damn my therapy scam failed! 😃

But to go back to the M6 topic, maybe if you pester Leica enough they bring the M6 reissue in silver too? 😉

And this brings us full circle to my post with the dragon 😄

This is actually in front of a huge selfie mirror, so the mountain is actually right behind me

the m6 dragon is the least M films i used due to its speed dial rotation, but on my last trip i only carried this M films along with my M digital

I like that expression, you "spent two rolls of film today."  We used to shoot film back in the day, now, we spend film!

With the M6, the family is complete—one for B&W (the M4P) and one for colour.
