Just got my first analog Leica M (Used to have an M8) along with the newest 50'cron for about 1900usd. The top was damaged from a flash (thinking about installing a new top plate, maybe black paint(?)) and the lens hood on the cron is dinged up so that it is uneven. Other than that, it seems to function very well. Not too sure about the price, whether it was an ok deal or not, don't really care to much either cause now I GOT MY VERY OWN M6! :D

What can I say? this is a camera I have decided to keep, something I would never dare to say about any digital camera. Just love the the experience and the mechanical feel, and no electronics to worry about. Of course I could never give up digital, but the using the M6 and film is a very enjoyable (Leica) experience. Of course digital (M8, M9, Canon 5Dmk2, Nikon 700 etc.) will give you incredibly images, sharper with more micro details more flexibility and immediacy, but film on the other hand will slow you down, make you think and the images are just so much more endearing. If you are considering getting an M6 or trying out film, go for it! you won´t regret it.
