Advertisement Posted September 17, 2022 Posted September 17, 2022 Hi Fernando Kneese, Take a look here Trinovid 10x25. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Anbaric Posted September 17, 2022 Share #2 Posted September 17, 2022 Externally, I use a rocket blower and inspection to make sure there's no grit, then Zeiss wipes (the kind with alcohol): https://www.amazon.co.uk/ZEISS-Lens-Wipes-Pack-200/dp/B00IKGH2TI Internally, I'd get them serviced professionally. Fernando Kneese Posted September 18, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted September 18, 2022 Anbaric, thank you ! I will send the Trinovid for an internal cleaning. Unfortunately there is no longer a Leica Service in Brazil, therefore I will have to send it abroad. Do you have any idea how much this cleaning service will cost ? Have you ever used Leica's support in London ? Best regards.
TomB_tx Posted September 19, 2022 Share #4 Posted September 19, 2022 Depending on when it was made and purchased a Trinovid may have a lifetime warranty. Worth checking...
Fernando Kneese Posted September 19, 2022 Author Share #5 Posted September 19, 2022 Thank you, TomB_tx ! I bought this Trinovid in the 80's. I am trying to find the Warranty Card, as I suppose it is a 40 year warranty. Best regards.

I've only used Leica's sports optics support in the UK for small things, like buying a replacement case (surprisingly cheap by Leica standards). They were very helpful. But mine haven't needed internal cleaning, so I don't know how much that would cost. If your warranty doesn't work out, you might want to look for an independent service centre.
