Photo post lost in the shuffle in the M10R photo thread... reshaped here, APO 35 on an M10R, not everything requires to be captured wide open

Castle Church of Friedrichshafen. Built at the end of the 17th century, Baroque style. Destroyed in 1944. Rebuilt in the 1950s after the war.

When I enter a room like this, I would often prefer to have a wider-angle lens with me. But the results that the Apo 35 delivers are simply unbeatable.

Google Lens is your friend - don't think I have that.  A lot of similar works by the same artist on that website, mostly price on request, but the cheapest with a price costs more than a M11.  I think I'd rather spend the money on the camera!

Yes, on the one hand I agree with you, this said,... a painting has no software/firmware issues 😉 I'd just get something other than an M11.

Honestly I like the painting and wouldn't mind one to use as a background on Zoom reunions ... but I'd rather buy lenses for that kind of money.

People who buy art/paintings are different from the type of photographers who frequent this forum. Actually my brain is busy more often than I’m aware of, finding out which photo I want to make or select from my archive to print and hang on the wall. I’m sure I’m not the only one here.

Really, oh wow. I have the steel rim and will get the apo in one week.

does the Mist-Filter really have the glowing effect in bright sunlight?

It does but will depend on how strong a filter you are getting and how the light is in the scene..most of the time I’m using it for night scenes though

The image with the organ: Here I’m certain I shot it wide open. The image of the nave: Here I stopped down, to 2.8 or 4, I don’t remember exactly. And as we know, the EXIFs may be wrong.
