A little like Louis beautiful lady shot above, I wish I had had time to think this one out, but my grandson was running around in a park and quickly left this spot - with a little time, I would have upped the iso and maybe been able to avoid the obvious movement of his head - nevertheless I really love the image and will return to try again another time.   It is part of an old narrowboat hull left on the edge of a children's park and has been very beautifully sculpted (can't think of a better way to describe it) with butterflies, birds and leaves. The light in there could be magical on a better day, we had grey skies and rain for the first time in ages today.   CL -18-56

Jayne, your monochrom is excellent. Since you are often shooting children and children always move, have you ever tried the continuous focusing on CL? I was not paying any attention to this feature till recently and now, for my street shots, I can’t live without it. Of course, this is with AF lenses. :)

You always find such beautiful subjects Louis - couldn't help but wonder with this one about the placement of the sunglasses - so funny!

Hahaha

It was lunch time and I guess she was hungry while checking the menu.... lol

Thanks Louis, you are right, and of course I should make use of continuous, would definitely have helped, and could easily be set up in user profiles on the CL.  Because I mostly use manual lenses, I just forget about those options.  I have tried continuous with the 55-135 and was pleased with how it performed.

What a nice shot. Like Louis, I have been ignoring the follow focus feature on the CL, but in a few months we will be visiting our granddaughter (and her parents) again and she has started crawling around. So I may need it!

I'm in love with the CL + Voigtlander 50mm 1.5 Aspherical  ;)

The DoF is gorgeous in my simple amateur (try hard) photo taker. Never knew a manual lens would give me this much pleasure. The CL has given me such a new found love for taking photos + this manual lens, I'm taking more time instead of snapping away.

Not sure if I'm correct in my opinion so feel free to comment on this combination.
