Ray Vonn Posted April 15, 2022 Share #6 Posted April 15, 2022 I initially used a fast 32mb SD card, all experts told me that was wrong and funnily enough it turns out they were right (thanks Sonnar Brian!). Topsy Posted April 15, 2022 Share #7 Posted April 15, 2022 Advertisement (gone after registration) When I was looking into getting my M9 everything I read that mentioned SD cards recommended 16gb at 45mb/s so that's what I got and have never had an issue. I get 341 shots shooting DNG & JPG Fine, I've enver come even close to filling a card but always carry a spare and spare battery (only once needed that). 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have a suspicion that the SD cards vary in 'quality' much more than the cameras and its the SD cards that are the problem. So far (~15 years using them) I've only had a couple of problems with SD cards both of which I dealt with by throwing te card away.
