How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

thanks mate, it was actually overcast day, meant to shoot film that day, but i loaded a wrong one, color.. when it is film and overcast especially color, i might as well stop sideways and enjoy a cup of coffee...

my m11 and m10r always set in BW for preview purposes, as the sun peep from the heavily crowded clouds, it was streaking dramatic, rushed n grabbrad the m11, shots few for composition purposes, M11 is quick for this kind of thing, i mean, all M's are... the beauty of M

the sun lasted merely less than 30s before it hid back in the clouds

What a lovely photo ….the beautiful rendering looks far from just being “out of camera” or Adobe Standard etc ….any hints as to what you did in post processing to achieve this wonderful look?

Thank you for your kind words!  I've just had a quick look and I see that in LR Classic I chose the 'Adobe Vivid' profile, then selected the Masking function.  Clicking on 'Subject' it very neatly picked out the roses, vase and apples (clever stuff!) and here I increased exposure by 1/4 stop and made very slight increases in texture and clarity.  Basically that was that.  No 'secret sauce'! ;)
