An Extra 300 is another sort of miracle, used in unlimited aerobatics.

It can take off in very little space

and climb at a mile a minute

The last shot is 13 seconds later:

but still clear in the view of an M APO-35.

Love what you do with the colors in some of your photos. Or is it just the APO 35 Summicron-M? Great write-up on how the M11 files take color adjustments BTW https://joshrose.medium.com/leica-m11-first-two-impressions-c4ec69bb1566

Both shot with the Ultron 28 ASPH II.

Location: Waterberg, Namibia on my family's farm.

The large tree in the second image is a Leadwood tree. These are very special trees that grow in a vein through the farm up to the North and into Angola. Locally known as Omumborombonga. In German, Ahnenbaum. In later posts, I'll have an image of one tree that is probably close to 1000 years old.

Thank you for sharing this write-up. It's a good summary. I can attest the dynamic range on the M11 is amazing. I'll upload another picture i took last week to Flickr later. I was very impressed with the dynamic range when i edit them in Lightroom Mobile on my iPad.
