Just 35's for now.  Use to have the Holy Trinity, then that plus something wider, then more minimalistic with the 35/90, except never used the 90, and now just 35's -- multiple, one for each body.  I may not get every shot, but I'll get most of them, and it keeps things simple.  I'm more of a one camera, one lens type, using my feet for new perspectives.  And my criteria for 35's is pretty straight forward too -- any manufacturer, small and compact, no aspherics, f/2 or faster, 0.7m hard stop.  That's just me, we're all different.  Still have a dual range Summicron though (for now), and some longer pre-war Zeiss stuff.  Even with SLR's I've gravitated to just 35 and macro stuff.  Ha, ha, constantly tempted by the nice super fast 50's out there.  Truly, I need one; damn you Voigtlander!  Next week it may all change.  You know how that goes.

28, 35*2, 50

35 being my ‘do it all’ focal length and I use a 28, 50 kit when photographing with ‘intent’.

This thread has been much more interesting than I expected.

I wonder out of the various lenses each person owns, which single lens is their favourite focal length.

For example, the majority own a 50, but it may turn out that 35 is actually used more overall.

I don't have favorite lens as such ( or saying it otherwise, every lens IS my favorite at some points, not only focal length).

So, I consider them as tool, every lens has it's use (or 1/4 h of fame ! ) when I need.

The majority was right and turns out to be wrong you mean? ;). 50 as always for me. Elmar-M 50/2.8 preferably or Tessar 35/3.5 on APS-C but i'm a fan of triplet lenses. Nobody's perfect :D.

I just took delivery of a Zeiss 25mm f/2.8 ZM. 25mm is not a new focal length, for me, as I already a Voigtlander 25mm Snapshot Skopar. I believe that the Zeiss will be used much more that the Voigtlander, unless I decide that I do not need anything between 21mm and 28mm, and decide to thin the herd.

Looking at my previous post, I realize that I forgot to mention the Elmarit-M 28mm f/2.8 Version 3. This is a Walter Mandler design, made in Canada.
