You are spending an awful lot of time and energy being concerned with what other people do.  Why is that?

It’s a legitimate rangefinder M lens. Don’t get your nose too high in the air. Pigeons will roost on it.

I was only curious wether you were an official ttartisan representative, or doing marketing on your own.

Nah I don’t think that’s it at all.  For some reason your.are upset that a company like TTA exists that can bring nice lenses which are a pleasure to use at an extremely affordable price point to the market.  And when you see decent results from them you have to change the topic and make it about something else.

In my initial review I point out the flaws - mine focuses past infinity, it’s smeary on the edges on my 10-r at 5.6 etc - so it’s not like this is a fan-boi review that you see youtubers push.  But this lens has a purpose - tiny, nice render, cheap.  It’s a great option for someone who has a primary lens - say a 50 Lux - and would rarely use a wide, because this little thing can be tossed in your pocket ready for the moment that that user decides a wide would be handy for a once in a while shot.

For something like that this $300 lens is a great option.  If I want perfection I’m taking my Cron.

You’re the one who said you had the real thing, an Orion lens. But then you went on with what looked like a ttartisan campaign. All of this in a Leica forum.

Sure, but, it obviously works for others. And I didn't read anyone's posts that sounded like they were trying to tell you why you should want one – just why they did.

Me? I don't need one because I have the Leica version, but I thoughtabout getting the black one just for fun. But my own personal jury on TTArtisan is still out –> I have the TTArtisan light meter on my M4-P, and it's not the most well-thought-out product. It hangs over the front of the camera, the hotshot mount can work itself loose, and the battery compartment is a nightmare with one little itty bitty teeny tiny screw that is easily lost. The Voigtlander meter by comparison fits flush, has a solid mount, and has a sliding battery compartment with no tiny screwdriver required. But the TTArtisan version I have is painted brass (neato) and the -•+ symbols on the exposure readout are more intuitive versus the >•< of the Voigtlander one (which of course matches how Leica does it, but I digress). The TTArtisan meter was $80 versus $225 for the Voigtlander. Oh, and the silver dials on the Voigtlander version look like fake arcade coins compared to the TTArtisan. So give and take with both.

Some TTArtisan products (like this tiny black 28) have just enough interesting features at a cheap price to entice buyers.

But you know what I really want? Not the matte black (and nearly unobtainable) Leica 28 Summaron, but a painted black one that would show wear to the brass eventually. Seems like making a second black paint version at say $3.5K USD would be a no-brainer for Leica to do.

 Now that is a good idea, Leica reintroduces a black version. I admit I would buy it even thought it cost $3,200 more than what I just paid for the TT in black.

Ok for fun I took some very similar shots with my Orion 15 28mm f6 lens.  This time I did not add a border as I wanted to show the full vignette at F6!  All shots at f6.
This lens is at infinity at the hard stop, which is very nice and perhaps a little surprising given that it uses an LTM-M adapter (Fotodiox).  While the TTA 28 5.6 smears at the edges at 5.6, the Orion gets hazy.  Interesting..
But no weird color casts, which is nice as this is a lens obviously built way before digital photography was even a consideration.
This lens is made of some type of alloy, and is super light weight, about half of the weight of the brass TTA.  Honestly for all the brass fetish thing happening - of which I too am guilty - it is much more pleasant using a lighter lens! Focus is super smooth and perfectly weighted.  Changing aperture is a right royal pain in the keester.

Interestingly, this lens does not vignette anywhere this much on film!

On film, the Orion 15 shows far less vignette than on digital!

They actually don't have a pre-brassed version.  That was just to show what it could look like with use.  They mention this on their website.
