Isn’t that why we have the Trades Descriptions Act? If the item is sold as ‘doing something’ but doesn’t, not because it’s broken but because it never did what it was claimed to do, surely it’s mis-selling and a scam? In much the same way as it would be a scam if you sold a carrot claiming you could make phone calls with it.Or if you sold a camera bag claiming it was made from Elephant skin but it wasn’t, that would be a scam rather than just being totally f**king disgusting!

For the record, I like Thorsten's camera articles.

And this is the weird thing isn't it, I also like Steve Huff's camera articles. But somewhere in between either by cynically cashing into a vulnerability in viewers or a hard headed belief in what they sell the paranoia of the modern world has lured them into what for most people is the dark side. A dark side which in turn becomes more and more normalised the more it is repeated and taken as a 'fact'. I think believing in half baked theories or speaking to the dead is ultimately a sign of a decadent decline in society, both are symptoms of somebody being divorced or shielded enough from real life to air personalised fantasies.

I think there are more than enough Leica customers who waste their superfluous money on these items from Denmark.
The local Leica dealer who lets Overgaard hold these completely overpriced photography courses in his premises will never be able to sell anything to me.

Hold your breath but Overgaard may even appear normal compared with Steve Huff! Take nothing for granted but be assured death needn't stifle your interest in photography. Steve Huff ( https://www.stevehuffphoto.com/ ) can sometimes write interesting camera and lens reviews, but this isn't his only talent, so if you want to chat lenses while on your way to heaven or hell get in touch with him

My goodness I thought Thorsten was a bit of a creepy snake oil salesman but never knew Huff was such a loon. I’d always been slightly fond of his over exuberant posts about cameras, and to be fair despite the narcissism usually quite like Thorsten’s photography reviews.

Does Huff say which mirrorless system is best for communicating with the dead?

Wait until you find out what Huff's Hustle was before Photography and Necromancy.

Bit of a clue in Hustle(r). Porno made a lot of people early on in the tech/online world a lot of $$ so they could retire and go and review overpriced cameras for a 'living' instead.

Obviously this Thorsten character is ripping a big page out of the audiophile playbook for his use. A $3k 'photographers' overnight duffel bag? Give me a break...

Another product he made for himself (apparently he made packaging and all just for himself), and we can buy...

"The OZONE Plus room sanitizing machine on the dining table in a private home. You turn it on with a timer for 20-25 minutes and will sanitizes all surfaces and remove odor."  And yet the stench of BS is overwhelming.

Goes on to say: "While it is working, people and animals should not be in the room".

What would happen if you stayed in the room? I'd think it would be a boon to those too lazy to take baths.

Is it? I know of an instance when a telecom company was forced to  pull down an antenna mast because the interference of the signal prevented the elders of the local tribe from communicating with their ancestors, who lived in a tree nearby.  Just North of Shimoni, Kenia.

He was ejected from this forum many years ago for repeatedly posting over-fruity material with links to view more.  The same happened at the forum that Guy Mancuso set up after Guy flounced off from this forum.

Clearly TvO knows little or nothing about propagation of radio waves, EMC (electromagnetic compatibility - which he wrongly calls "EMF" = Electromotive Force), and any potential for harming humans.

Any fool knows that his 5G Cards won't work because they don't contain any Dilithium-Unobtanium alloy powder.  He might just as well be using dry water.

Interesting!
My understanding was that due to the difficulties in calculating the localised interference effect of Dark Matter it was necessary to ensure that the Dilithium-Unobtainium alloy was present in the form of a non-Newtonian fluid not a powder!.
I may have misread the research however (as it was written in crayon)

Ah that's because of the inverse flux-density of the 50 Shades of Grey Matter needed to improperly scintillate and liquify the Dark Matter.  The research paper was probably partially hidden under the ripped two-for-one sticker I expect.  Happens more than you'd think.

Well actually it brought to mind that T(no v!) O maybe styling himself on Bryn Tyrfel as “Dottore” Dulcamara in “l’elisir d’amore” in the marvellous ROH retro ‘50s production in 2014 and thus bringing succour to Mar-a-Lago!
Apologies for trying to take this thread in a “highbrow” direction.  It can’t get much lower..
