leica dream Posted March 27, 2021 Share #1 Posted March 27, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Now that I am well on the way with scanning my old slides I can see how even 50+ years old are still as bright and clear as ever. What I need to do now is to find some way of storing the images. I intend transferring them to my Macbook Pro, but seek a format which a "non computer" person could just thumb through a set of full screen images by using a simple UP arrow or something. If I store as simple files in a folder, as far as I can see one needs to go back to click on a specific file name for every image within Preview. There has to be a more simple method. bill_murray Posted March 28, 2021 Share #3 Posted March 28, 2021 (edited) I find the best tool for a computerphobe / technophobe to view photos is on an Ipad - just swipe back and forth.. Simple just to sync the Ipad with your Macbook to transfer the Photos too. And the Ipad displays photos well as well! Doug A Posted August 18, 2021 Share #5 Posted August 18, 2021 Ditto on the Photos on iPad recommendation. You can also create a slideshow of whatever images you like.
earthpoint Posted September 25, 2021 Share #6 Posted September 25, 2021 Also, do not ignore the Google Drive storage, it comes with 15GB free space for the every email created..... this can also be handy, easy and you do not have to transfer the file individually.... you can easily access Google Drive on any device.
