It’s a shame no-one is responding: I don’t have any of the APO-Lanthars, but I would love to see a few more images from the lenses. Thanks for your samples, I like them!

Hi, I did not know this is an open thread. Is it?

Just received my Apo Lanthar 35.. My test is for irksome color edging at distant branches.  This copy of the lens has that licked!! When the sun shines again I'll do a few more.

SOOC M10P  Shot wide open

'Til then I'm happy with this nice sharp and contrasty lens.

Excellent. Just got mine today, too. Seems to perform at near the same level as the 50 APO. I was surprised it was lighter than the compact but heavy 35 1.2 III, though it is a little longer than the 50 APO. The close-focusing to 50cm like the 35 1.2 does is nice.

and a full size snippet from above... (captured with the Haoge helicoid adapter, just to make sure it reaches infinity when not extended.)

I didn’t see it in any other shot posted above, hence the question. A one off I guess.

Hi, this can happen, I think. I have other examples like this and green fringes ... But we are here in a picture thread.

There is a problem-thread too :
