Bought one just a bit over $7K this year. Illogical? Yes, but it's beautiful. Put a frame line illumination window on it for fun.

Appreciate your help in my decision making.  I downgraded from a m11 to a m10p reporter (and m10r BP) and love it!

Put the M10-P Reporter thru some sticky, moist Caribbean conditions in Central America. This shot is from a beach in Northern Costa Rica.

I mount a black 28mm Artisan on my Reporter. Ultracompact, it easily slides into a Alpacka modular sling which can do a vertical belt mount.

Sorry, photographing the color green correctly  is usually off, but the ALPAKA green is a very close match to the reporter.

The used Reporters already reaching almost 20% over brand new sales price.
Not bad for a digital special edition (Image from official Leica pre-owned page where many Leica shops and boutiques from auround the globe sell the goods).

A compact Sumarron 28 on a Reporter is a very compact set up that slips in a pocket.

This shot was of Josh Lehrer of Red dot forum fame using his hands to emphasize the importance of updating your firmware. Folks, use your reporter, don’t just look at it.

In case anybody is wondering how an affordable Safari lens looks on a Reporter body:  Safari green Special Edition Light Lens Lab 35 f/2 Summicron V1 8-element remake on Leica M10-P Reporter.

Not exactly a match made in heaven, but a match made at the last Honkytonk bar at the end of Purgatory just before the pearly gates intersection after a long night of binge tequila dialogues.

My absolute dream Leica - a Reporter version.

Actually I am using my M10-R (silver) as this was my absolute dream camera. Very satisfied with it. The reporter version is super sexy (but typically not what is photographed with it). Sometimes i wish my silver version could be more unobtrusive. Also searched for olive 3M skins (shame on me😉) - but the only way to make a silver version temporarily more unobtrusive seems to be a black sticker for the red dot and perhaps a black case?

Another way is for you to be more unobtrusive.  It might only be you that is conscious of your M10-R and you are unconsciously giving off signals that others pick-up on.

Another way again is to wear a fluorescent, yellow, hi-viz jacket when you're shooting.  People will notice the jacket but probably not notice your camera.  I've found that it's astonishing how few people take any notice of you when you're wearing a hi-viz jacket - it's as though they automatically ignore you because their brain tells them that you're working and there's nothing interesting to see.

Very good point. Will remind me of that in my next walk.

The green is nice but if I bought one the kevlar thing is the first thing to go. I would wrap it in leather. That Kevlar really looks bad to me. Especially worn.

Definitely the best looking green combo is the Leica M10P Safari with a silver lens. The M10P Safari looks so much better than the reporter.

With 20K budget, the most desirable camera & lens combo at this point time for me was M10-P Reporter + 28mm Summicron Matte Paint combo with Match Technical Thumb grip & Arte Di Mano case. So I went and got it!
