What are your top 1~3 lenses that you’ll be sticking with? I finally came to the conclusion I am a 50mm guy, so I will be mostly using: 1) Summicron Rigid 50mm (my favorite Leica lens) attached to my M3 2) Elmar 50mm f3.5 attached to my M9M 3) Summaron 35mm f2.8 Goggled version for when I wanna shoot street / do zone focusing / do close(r) focusing And here’s a shot of my M9M and Elmar (my number 1 spot is now being CLA’d so can’t share). I am using the Flashback Camera hood that allows to change the aperture easily with the hood / filter, making this lens much easier to use. Feel free to share your picks & inspire others! I'm coming to a similar conclusion about the 50mm focal length, although I shot almost exclusively with a 35mm for the last three years. In 2021 I expect to primarily use my Summicron 50/2 v5 (got my eye out for a nice Rigid as well) and the 28mm Elmarit ASPH, when I can get back to some street shooting. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

To say it better, I use my lenses and bodies for what I've learned to use them, depending on subjects and situations. So favorite(s) of the year mean nothing for me. Third will be the 28mm asph Elmarit Here's hoping that everyone has far more opportunities to use our kit this year than last! Philip.
