A socially distanced demonstration (we're in a three-week lockdown right now but protests are allowed under the rules of free speech):

The objective was to circle the Knesset, honking horns in rhythym.  The line of cars went around a 3 km block before repeating. and there were no gaps in the line

I'm told that the last time we did this, after seven trips around the walls fell down.  The objective this time is to encourage Netanyahu to admit to the substance of the 3 or 4 indictments against him and resign.

Demonstrators and exhibits (one of the indictments involved bribes that seem to have been required in the purchase of submarines):

Demonstrations take place on Saturday evenings, usually late enough that even the observant can join in.  Later tonight there will be a less socially distanced assembly of a few thousand people with signs and singing, etc., outside the prime minister's residence.

Yom Kippur, the day of the bicycle

V1000848 1 by scott kirkpatrick, on Flickr

The streets are empty here today, so kids spend the day on their bicycles.  Some experienced, and some taking their first steps.  Even in lockdown.

Sukkot in the age of coronavirus.  Observant Jews during the coming week eat all meals in a sukkah, a temporary hut with (usually) cloth walls, although some authorities in some sects insist on plywood so that the walls do not move.  The roof must be of organic material, and let some of the sun shine in.  (If it rains?  That's a really bad signal from above.) But this year, I'm seeing good ventilation appearing as a consideration:

All great photos, congrats guys.

Im asking myself though if the images aren't too clinical with this new 41MP sensor...? I feel like its starting to render like a Sony now. Almost too sharp.... don't you think ?

No. Not even close.

Here are two images shot with my M10-R and APO Summicron 50mm lens.

The man in a rowboat is a crop of an image that I shot yesterday in New Hope, PA. It's about 70% of the original image size.

The 2021 BMW M550i is my new car shot on the historic Mercer Museum grounds across the street from my office in Doylestown, PA. The detail in the brick wall behind the car is extremely sharp right to the corners of the image.

Both images were processed in Capture One Pro 20 and output to JPEGs with a 1,200 pixel dimension on the long edge of the image. The amazing details in the full size images are not as evident in these images due to the size limit in this forum.

Bud James

The detail shows that you’re blocking an entrance way right there 😀

How is the color fringing with the cv21mm on the m10-r?

I really don't see much, it seems quite neutral to me in general shooting.

I'm planning to take a look in more higher dynamic range situations in the next week or so perhaps fringing will rear its ugly head.
