Nice composition :)

How come the purple fringing is so strong? That shouldn't happen at Leica quality&pricing?

Thanks, I did not correct fringing on the Voigtländer lens, I only boosted the shadows and cropped the image.

tell them to slow down, you have a bit longer to go and they have almost finished it already! :)

Imagine, as a teenager, the horror of being put down into lockdown again, then being made to do a jigsaw of all things and THEN having people want to pictures of all that! 😉

I can only imagine how that would go down in our house

So I recently, and somewhat hesitantly, swapped my lovely Fuji X gear for a Leica M10 R. The Fuji gear was great and I'd had 4 happy and productive years with it.

I've not been sure I've done the right thing until about a week in when I took this picture .....

I don't know how well it will show up here but on the original the definition of the minor branches is exquisite and to my eye seems like something that the Fuji could not achieve (or any twenty something mega pixel camera)? This was taken on the 35 Summicron. I've since added a 50 Summilux and have a 21 F3.4 on order.

Should be a good Christmas after all. I feel like I've made a good choice 🙂

Best, David

I agree. A fantastic image (In CAPITAL LETTERS!!!!!).

Congratulations!

Francisco.

Going for a walk in the park.  There were actually 26 birds in this flock but they were too spread out for me to capture in one shot.  M10-R with M50 lux.

Thanks,

Mark

That one (several pages and months back), was easy.  The cats (see post 258) were the final straw.  But they got finished, too.
