Looking for some guidance on a repair :( I believe I have a sensor problem, but I've not experienced this before.

My M10 seems to have a few problems. The untouched JPG is solid green from the camera and histogram in LR is the same regardless of exposure. In LR the image goes to a solid white. Additionally, when the play menu button is engaged only the name of the file comes up.

Are there a list of shops which are still taking Leica repairs during the pandemic?

Thanks for any guidance.

Is it possible to do a factory reset on the M10? If not, I think your only option will be to send it in.

How do I do a factory reset?

In the menu system of the Q there is an option for Factory Reset. I don't recall if there is one on my M240. Perhaps it is present in the M10 menu?

You could also try a firmware update or reinstall?

I'd suggest contacting Leica AG in Wetzlar rather than the New Jersey facility. Since the Service Centers are closed now it's possible Leica might replace your camera, depending on when it was purchased.

What does he image look like on the rear LCD when you enable live view?

When I hit play there is only an image number shown instead of an image e.g. L1002423.DNG

Example Live View attached - Greenish tint across the frame.

Turn on live view. What do you see on the rear screen?

I updated the post above to include the proper description.

Sadly, looks like a trip home to Wetzlar is required 😪

Unfortunately that is what it seems.  I took the advice and emailed Leica and got the following response (shortened)

...

"We can’t tell for certain what is causing this issue. The camera needs to be checked at our workshop. But due to the corona virus, our workshop is not operating as usual at the moment."

...

Anyway, thank you everyone for your advice. It was very helpful in debugging.

Regardless, I would send it in now - even if it takes a while, it will be near the front of the line when things start opening up. You cannot use it like this anyway.
