Any AF improvements in S3?

Finally got a product item and can tell that the S3 is more precise and locks faster, even with the 100mm and 120mm the focus is more consistent even in lower light, but the AF of these S lenses stays always a bit on the slower side, there is a lot of glass to move.

Can you focus on the eyes with the OVF?
