The Alfa Team introduced their latest F-1 carbon fiber, computerized whizbang appliance for the 2020 season the other day.........and immediately made me think back to the time when these things were still referred to as Grand Prix cars.

I keep looking for beauty in todays field, but it is extremely elusive.

I agree. Today's cars are functional but not beautiful. And efficient only because of the downforce their shape and 'wings' generate.
