This one is with Sigma 24-70 and SL2. This is not a sunset or sunrise picture. It was a very interesting experience that day. In the morning, Yosemite had great weather, sun was harsh, air was dry. Around the mid of afternoon, everything changed, strong wind blow lots of smoke from a site 100 mile away that instantly cover the sun and put valley in orange, pink color. After wind settle, I captured this image. It was a surreal experience.

Very well done! I am planning a visit to Yosemite Nov 6-10. Hoping for a couple of days of smoke free weather with the recent rains.

Another great catch! May I ask how do you like the 35 Lux on the SL2?

It meet my requirement for both wide open or stop down performance. If you are happy with its performance on M, you will be happy with SL as I don’t see much degradation like many other wide M glasses.  With OEM M to L adapter, it also retain correct infinity focus so that you can use zone focus by just using lens barrel for image like this. Fast and reliable.

however, there definitely are some sharper ones out there than 35lux M though none of them as small or lovely as it.

Marbach am Neckar

SL2 + Voigtländer Super Wide Heiler III 15mm, f/22

Quite flashy, but it reflects that brilliant, cold and windy day quite precisely.

Today I did some macro shots of a project with peppers. Among other lenses I used a very strong one macro of Canon adapted on my SL2 and found some interesting structures. One of them reminded me to a volcano and the present catastrophe on La Palma. People there have my deepest sympathy and I hope for them, that the volcano will stop its eruptions very soon. And that they will get financial support.

With exception of #3 all pictures are photos with only minimal processing. For #3 regarding the sky a painting software has been used. Exifs are in in all versions.
