How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

True, you can, but a) the results are "semi-convincing" and b) that's very much leaving the path of simplicity ;)

For me, I just accepted that the monochrome is more an itch than a necessity :)

My late mother and father in law had many such trees in their garden years ago, they were great friends with Percy Thrower, quite a famous gardener in this neck of the woods and had just about every species of Leylandii, Pine, Cyprus trees etc that was available at the time.  My best guess (I'm no gardener)  is these are Pinus Sylvestris Pine Cloud Pom Pom, or similar - google search will help I'm sure, lots of topiary involved in the care of these trees to encourage growth and shape.

Funny, they are made by a company in Frankfurt. 
originally they are a 3d company and the

cups where a promotion of them.
here a Christmas video with the cups I German. 

to me they always look like Oli and Hardy … and behave like that too … 

good present and very funny 

i hope you had a good laugh ….

I thought about why I know the face - Oliver Hardy is a perfect hit :D

BTW: Crazy weather here in Bavaria - no snow whatsoever and even in the mountains around 4 degree C, everywhere else 10+ C.

Still went for a hike, first time with the Q2.

First: Picture Number 100 - a bit same same as picture 1 :D

Torrevieja in 2 second mode 

i was raised in torrevieja. 
i have vivid memories of the old street market  ever Friday. It was one of my favorite places to be. So much to see and I loved the pace and the voices. 
 

next time I am going to the new market and have a look at what’s it now. 
 

and I am searching for a street market in the neighborhood of torrevieja. 
 

if I am lucky I can find one.
