The strap has been a whim, the silicone one wasn't bad, but it felt stiffer than the leather one.

The Leica Elmar T 18-56, is seen with signs of used but otherwise it goes very well.

The Leica Visoflex 20, will be for the next purchase, at this time I have not considered it necessary, the TL2 screen is very good and I work well with it. If I buy it I will wear it on the camera for specific moments. I am used to working with the screen of the X1 and X2 that if I compare it with the screen of the TL2, the difference for good is big.

Any advice or suggestion will be well received and appreciated.

Using all different cameras for the past 40 years mostly in manual focus, I decided to try the Leica TL2 because of the size, build quality and lenses. I have to say that the auto-focus is one of the most sluggish I have ever used. Not a fan at all. Everything else about the camera is wonderful, including the touch screen. Everything is right in front of you and easy to find. Most other cameras make you read a manual to figure out how to find simple settings such as f-stop, shutter speed and such. I have also ruined plenty of pictures by bumping a button on the front or back of other cameras while in the field, changing to auto settings and such, ruining pictures. This interface is the best and easiest I have ever used. Color and Black and White renditions are more than great. Bought the EVF and will be using a manual M lens. Hope this is the ticket.

Hi, i bought on 1. december a used LEICA SUMMARIT-M 1:2.5 35mm (11643) and i'm so excited how fantastic it works on my CL (Leica Adapter M to L). I like to focus the lense manual.
Best regards and happy Holidays

I bought this TL2 camera and sold my X2 because I also want to make videos and X2 doesn't have it.

Have any of you tested your behavior with the videos? (with TL2, TL, T) ..

I think it is convenient to place Visoflex 20 to work with the M objectives in the manual and make videos, so I bought it for 450 euros. (New).

Now that I have it and seeing that it comes with a cloth bag and a leather or imitation leather case, I don't know how to take it when it's not in the camera. I had thought about hanging it from the camera's shoulder strap, but I'm afraid that the leather case's closure is not strong, so that with any friction it could open and get lost.

What is your advice on this? ...
Thank you.

That does not answer the question.

Both cameras share the same sensor, there are those who prefer the design of TL2 other CL. (Both are good). Personally, I chose TL2 because I liked it better.
The external design and size of CL are very similar to D-lux 109 that I also have.

Your TL2 was as expensive as a CL taking the accessory EVF into account i suspect. No problem of course but you'll have to find a way of carrying the accessory EVF now. I would suggest to put it in a bag together with the camera but i'm not sure if camera bags are your cup of tea.

Thanks for entering and commenting.

It is true that the well-equipped TL2 is as expensive as the CL.
Advantages: have GPS and be able to take photos with an articulated viewfinder towards the ground.

Perfect and as you say, if I carry the camera in its bag, I keep the Visoflex in the bag (and without problems).

Disadvantage: if I only take the camera, I have to study something that is safe and easily accessible to remove and position the camera viewfinder whenever I want.

If I find something, in this same thread I will expose it.

regards

To transport the TL2 camera, a replacement lens, Visoflex 20, replacement cards, replacement battery and something else, today I decided to place an order to buy this bag on AliExpress.
I don't see her big and she looks pretty and I think she has a good price.
Although it claims to be leather, for the price I do not think so, it must be an imitation quite well achieved.
The opinions of the users who have it are high.

I agree with Jaap, looks too big, especially for something as compact as the T/TL2. I'll dig out the bag I bought for my smaller cameras (came from AliExpress too), Pen F and T style cameras. but it was smaller than the hard box you linked to .

Yes, the bag is 100 mm front to back, whilst the camera is 69 mm high. With the camera stored with the lens in the width it will rattle around and with the lens front to back the combo would need to be exactly the right size to fit. For protection, camera bags need padding, or, like the old Leica cases, a perfect adaptation to the gear. It was not for nothing that Leica sold exchangeable interiors for their rigid leather bags.

@jaapv

The interior seems padded and with dividers.

The size of the bag by placing the camera in the position indicated in the image seems correct. (Unless I am not perceiving something I do not see at this time).

Separators that can be adjusted for comfort make the camera not vibrate.

@jaapv Hola:

Saludos

INGLES (On Friday I received the bag I had requested here:)

As promised, I put some photos and commented on my first impressions:

As you can see and for the price it is not genuine leather.)
