Advertisement Posted July 29, 2007 Posted July 29, 2007 Hi jimcollum, Take a look here Fort Point, San Francisco. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
BrutalImage Posted July 29, 2007 Share #2 Posted July 29, 2007 interesting images and lovely tonal range. you might consider cropping to emphasize subjects. in the first image, i would crop vertically to remove part of rightmost wall.... in the second image, i would consider making two images, cropping from either side of the centre line of the barrel. Jack_Flesher Posted July 30, 2007 Share #3 Posted July 30, 2007 Great shots Jim. I don't think either one needs a crop, I think the second ne is fine and the first may need a bit of shadow pop for web view. Would be *great* as-is for print, but for web I like to see a bit better into the shadows. My .02...
samwells Posted July 30, 2007 Share #4 Posted July 30, 2007 Jim: Lovely muted color paletted in these shots...I particularly like the first one with that asymmetrical arch...and to me, the crop as is emphasises that asymmetry. cheers: Sam
