Mine dont work at all, 4 black and 2 white but body and LRC don't got it

The coding on my 7a 50 f1.1 works fine on my M9 and M10, but the M240 couldn't read it (unless I rotated the lens a bit in the mount)

You may wish to use black nail polish if your coding pits are not painted already and the right code is 011110, 0 being white and 1 being black. Works on my M11, M240 and digital CL.

The only issue I had with my 7A 35 f2 is, like all my 7A lenses, it focuses past infinity on the hard stop.  Focus is accurate using the RF patch, just not using the focus scale.

Works great on colour and B&W film, here using my M4-2

I would make sure that the sensor for lens code is clean to begin with. Also check that the paint of the coding tips is black enough, not grey. Same for white pits, white not grey. Best to remove paint smudges too.
