You will only stop when the SL2 comes out and we can make direct comparisons not just for resolution but also for DR, low light performance, and wide M lens performance in the corners. In the the meantime, these reviews are just more of the same.

Sorry to say, but I think your behavior is off-topic. (And quite rude, well definitely not according to netiquette.)

Could an admin please interfere ? I find this very embarrassing ...    (not funny anymore)

🤣Are you kidding me? There is a thread on reviews in case you didn't notice. This one is called "Is the S1/S1R a good backup camera for SL." Read the topic of this thread, again. Then I expect an apology BTW. 🤣

Perhaps I missed it in one of the reviews but can someone tell me if the S1 and/or S1R has an Auto ISO feature, e.g. user sets aperture and shutter speed and lowest ISO is automatically set by the camera to give proper exposure?

It certainly does! (But doesn’t every camera?)

The teleconverters can now be pre-ordered. Probably made for the current 70-200 f4 . And also for the second that will have f 2.8 . But still unclear if usable with SL 90-280. One could even say unsupported, as it is not mentioned with a single word.  https://www.panasonicff.com/tag/panasonic-lumix-s-2x-teleconverter/

Experiences with some Leica lenses on the S1.  https://www.macfilos.com/2019/05/31/leica-lenses-on-the-new-panasonic-lumic-s/

It’s a personal impression, the colors of the S1 are nice and vibrant (especially in low light), but I still like the colors of the SL slightly better (jpegs directly from camera). Not a big deal for raw shooters.

  • 2 weeks later...

Thorsten Overgaard compares the S1R with the SL and other cameras he mostly uses (he is mainly an M shooter, traveling light if possible). Interesting because he has his own perspective, which is not based on feature lists.

Part 1   https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jn8NojUS078     (Should be working, though I first got an error message)

Part 2.  https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=EM0kqFY2riY.    (Comes in a few hours ?!)  Why this artificial delay ? No idea!

Nor do I, and I have/use the lens...

I’m with Helged here - I’ve owned the lens since they first shipped and tested it on and off for two years prior to that. To my mind the focus is fine - but I’m a non subscriber as well!

By the way, it works great on the S1
