Hi there,

I am having a sensor issue I believe - not sure, so I figured i'd ask here.

I have some images below, if you could please take a look - wondering if theres anyone else experiencing same issues.

Looks to me a sensor issue and looks very similar to what I had many years ago with an M240, brand new out of the box. I went back to the dealer and Leica replaced it immediately, within 2 days. 

How old is your camera? Has it always been there, or did it just show up?

Hard to tell from the full-frame sample (too small) - does the line run the full width (into the shadow on the right) or does it stop halfway?

Because it looks like a read-out error. To save time, most sensors are "read" from both ends at once, the right half of the picture out through a different set of contacts/wiring than the left half.

Not that it actually matters much - definitely a warrantied flaw whether sensor or downstream electronics, and will need to go to Leica in any case.

had the same problem with a new m10.
this is caused by a "hot pixel". just contact Leica support.

they need some sample pictures and will create a custom firmware for you to map out the pixel (should take about 2-5 days until they respond with the firmware)
After installing the new firmware the problem ist gone!
