I recall that at home I have some small wind-up clockwork versions (racing grannies as I recall) which come out each Christmas and were used to taunt my mother-in-law

Clearly the “M” wasn’t working*

 

*explanation: in one of the windows there was a small « M » engraved into the stone. It’s supposed to be a witches mark to ward off evil spirits.

Very nice photo !!! I wish I had taken my M9 along for an introduction to this 10mm. It is surprisingly good!
