How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Files” and s

Just received a 65 f3.5 Elmar, first macro shot with it on my CL. Does anyone know a Leica extension tube to bypass a Viso II or III? I know Novoflex has a tube set but it costs more than the lens and focusing mount. This is definitely an M mount lens. What I am looking for is something like the TZOON tube I use on my 200 to bypass a VISO I.  Currently I am using a Viso II head, it has too much going on.

I thought I replied, sorry, came through on my email and I did a return, hmm. Just copied it to the site mail. This one has a focusing tube so I was hopimg to get a solid tube. I thought replying to the email would come to the site mail, well I learned something. The lens seems very good, a little low on contrast, and I use DNG files so I can get around that. Have literally take ten pictures with it so no real opinion.

Still trying out the 65, think I have the extension tube set up so I don't have to use the Viso head on the CL. I bought a M to Nikon adaptor and a 5mm Nikon extension tube seems to do it with my Nikon to L adaptor. Here is a Christmas Cactus flower with the set up, back lit from the morning sun.
