Another from my walk last week. Taken with the M4-P and 35mm Summarit f2.5 lens and shown full frame. Film was Ilford HP5+ developed in Tetenal Paranol S, and then post-processed in LR Classic. Whilst the developer will not be my future choice, it can yield some good results if you are able to control the grain. Certainly the tonal range is good.

I'm still trying to figure out what the guy on the right is wearing: it looks like a woman's dress with a slit up the side.

I have no idea but Graham is absolutely right that it is typical for India/Pakistan and probably he is a Muslim (although not necessarily).

I think it's called a Sherwani.

Examples here:  https://www.utsavfashion.com/men (though somewhat more colourful, the style appears to be correct).

Those are more Indian than Pakistani (Muslim), and are more elaborate in concept. My son-in-law is Indian, and that is similar to what he wore when he got married to my daughter. The gut in the photo is wearing something much rougher.

Love it Gerry. You could almost run a caption competition to change the carpet cleaner sign :)

Thanks Charlie - I appreciate you taking time to comment.
