LeicaFan1 Posted March 23, 2018 Share #1 Posted March 23, 2018 Advertisement (gone after registration) Does anyone know what lens code to use with the Leica 28mm f2.8 PC Super Angulon R 11812 on M240? The pull down menu of R lenses doesn't show this code.
Advertisement Posted March 23, 2018 Posted March 23, 2018 Hi LeicaFan1, Take a look here Leica 28mm f/2.8 PC Super Angulon R 11812 on M240. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
masjah Posted March 23, 2018 Share #2 Posted March 23, 2018 There is no code because any corrections would depend completely on the magnitude and direction of any applied shift. All lens corrections in profiles assume a symmetric disposition, which is exactly what a shifted lens is not. I use the lens with no correction selected.
usm Posted April 29, 2018 Share #3 Posted April 29, 2018 I'm using the 28/2.8 code from the list and, if you using CaptureOne, I use the Hasselblad 28/4 lens correction -work good. If you use PSD - get the Alpa lens correction plug in. it,s free and has a profile for the PC Super Angulon.
masjah Posted April 29, 2018 Share #4 Posted April 29, 2018 I posted a picture in Architecture (I think round about May 2015) of the interior of Holy Trinity Church Hull. I quite deliberately did nothing whatsoever to the image in post processing, apart from scaling to Forum dimensions, so that people could see how the PC Super Angulon worked on the M240 with a substantial (vertically asymmetric) shift.
