This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. He has been using that "Camera" forever and was famous for that! If you check him online, that camera is almost all his pictures! lol

The first time I met Louis Mendes was on a pedestrian overpass of the Manhattan West Side highway, leading to the USS Intrepid Aerospace Museum.  I asked to aked his photo with my D2, after which he took mine with his Polaroid backed Graflex, and charged me for the image - a more than fair trade.

He looks like a wax museum piece - ageless it seems. Great shot that puts you in close proximity. And outside a camera shop.
