This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. That's very kind of you. 

Of the two I definitely prefer your colour version because the extra contrast enhances the lighting conditions.  Sorry for wasting your time and thank you for making the effort.

For me, too, the colour shot works better. Anyway, it's just a grab shot, which I thought was worth taking at the time. Appreciate your comment and in no way was it a waste of time. In fact, I had already made a bw version for myself, as I usually do when I think it has potential.
