This thread is suffering from overposting by a few members; I have hidden some posts. It is a an unwritten convention that we leave space for other participants. The reason is twofold: Overposting drowns out the other posts and, as important, if one floods a thread, the viewers lose interest and won't even look at those posts any more. I just posted this on the Monochrom Shots page:

I first saw this on Colin's Instagram feed and I am so taken by this photograph.  First of all, in the background, the various diagonals work synergistically to create a very dynamic feel to the photograph.  Something definitely is happening.  Everything points to the building, which is being demolished.  Minus the figure in the foreground, this is an apocalyptic scene, dark and foreboding.  Then, completely out of context, this figure appears, who is completely oblivious because she is, of course, talking on her cell phone, which has her so preoccupied that she simply does not notice that the world is ending.  It's a magnificent photograph, refined Templeton vision.  This caused me to go back and review all of Colin's Instagram photos since he starting posting and I made a small collection of my favorites.
