Hello, please help me to understand if my two days old M10 is defective. When I shoot inside pictures look like this one.

It is driving me crazy.

Thank you

Grey card white balance does not help.

Then to be honest, you are most likely doing it wrong.

As soon as I open the .DNG in Photoshop, it opens in Adobe Camera Raw... I have NOT touched anything.

This is how the default preview looks like, so I think you're doing something wrong.:

I appreciate your help, thank you. I use a Lightroom with Leica M10 color profile as by default and it's all yellow.

That is not the way it should look like; the export setting should be 16-bits

I know I just opened it and this was what photoshop did by default (8-bit is wrong yes)

But colour wise it's fine and I didn't touch anything, so I'm wondering what Win-Win is doing wrong in Lightroom or Photoshop to get that weird yellow colour on their image.

The light is weird; 2300 K etc. Just set a proper colour balance. Click on the handle of the cupboard. Even better to use the grey card setting instead of AWB under such light.

Try Adobe profile. I had almost the same result with some photos taken indoor. On the camera screen they were very yellow (I guess the M10 convert with its profile) but open in Lightroom with Adobe profiles all was much better.

It is true that there are lights difficult to be interpreted but, after reading in the reviews about the M10's excellent performance in artificial lights, I can only see that in the same situation I reported my M9 did better.

Pheraps another little defect only in few cameras ?

I hardly see light or WB problems here. Even Apple's Preview (pic) does much better. The camera is not faulty IMO so culprits can only be Lightroom and/or the user.

I very occasionally get similarly over-yellow photos under artificial light, at default settings, AWB and M10 profile, which are fine in the Adobe profile.

So easy to manage (and rare) that I don't see it as a problem.

I don't think it's a fault in the camera either, it's just the way the M10 profile has been created, which gives nicer results in most cases compared with the standard Adobe profile, ( this is probably subjective as well as context-dependant) but once in a while I find Adobe is the better choice if you don't want to adjust WB yourself, even though it couldn't be easier to do as Jaap says. I just don't see it as an issue.
